Hwawon Amusement Park

Hwawon Amusement Park
Hwawon Amusement Park, originally established in 1979 by Kumbokju Company, a manufacturer of alcoholic beverages in Korea, became part of Daegu’s public assets in 1993 after the city seized the property for the company’s failure to pay its taxes. DFMC has been running the park ever since. The Corporation has added a variety of facilities and amenities to the park, including artificial waterfalls, walking trails, modern toilets, and a folk culture experience zone, in addition to repairing old tombs and traditional houses on site.
